AIRA's statement on COVID-19 as of December 17, 2020

To the membership of AIRA:

We hope everyone is continuing to weather the current situation in a safe and healthy manner. As previously reported, AIRA has suspended all in-person activity for the near future. We are hopeful that the developing distribution of vaccines will enable us to resume in-person activities sometime in 2021.

Planning is underway for AC21, AIRA’s annual conference scheduled for Newport Beach, California in early June. The planning is moving forward with the hope that circumstances will allow for an in-person conference. We plan to incorporate a virtual participation element to the conference and in the event the COVID situation does not allow for a safe in-person event, we will hold the conference virtually, as we did in 2020.

CIRA/CDBV Courses:

AIRA continues to provide online CIRA and CDBV training sessions. The current schedule of classes is as follows. Please see the CIRA and CDBV web pages for additional details.

  • Part 2: Online: Apr 27-05, 2021

We will continue to assess timing for the resumption of in-person events and update this page as circumstances allow.

We extend our best wishes for the holidays and the New Year. Please follow the directions of your local health officials and stay well.
