Representatives from AIRA will present a joint session on valuation at the 2015 TMA Distressed Investing Conference, to be held February 11–13, 2015 at the Four Seasons Las Vegas. The panel will discuss guideline transactions, discount rates, cost of financial distress, the value of tax shields, and other factors in the context of valuing financially distressed businesses. They will examine how these factors can help provide structure, methodologies and techniques to avoid valuation pitfalls, and offer a framework from which meaningful and supportable conclusions of value can be derived.
