The audio portion of this course was recorded during a live webcast presented by Aalok Mody, co-founder and instructor with Pillars of Wall Street. This 120-minute program serves as an excellent introduction to corporate valuation for advisors and professionals who are new to valuation theory and procedure; or as a refresher for those with intermediate experience. The instruction focuses on strengths and weaknesses of the four primary valuation methodologies as well as the calculation of equity and enterprise value. Relative versus fundamental valuation and majority versus minority stake valuation are covered.

NOTE: This webinar is not a modeling class, but provides comprehensive preparation for Excel-based statement forecasting and cash flow modeling.

Learning Objectives
After completing this program, participants will be able to:

  1. List the four primary valuation methodologies and discuss the basic assumptions of each.
  2. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the four primary valuation methodologies.
  3. Calculate equity and enterprise value under each of the four primary valuation methodologies.
  4. Compare and contrast relative versus fundamental valuation, and majority versus minority stake valuation.
