Prior to the Event

Q: Can I pay for registration by Check/Wire Transfer/Money Order?

A: Yes, please contact us at aira@aira.org or by phone (541) 858-1665 to make alternative payment arrangements.

Q: How can I cancel/get a refund?

A: Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Wednesday, May 23, 2024 for a full refund minus a $150 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted after May 23, 2024 - however substitutions will be allowed. To request a cancellation or substitution please contact us at aira@aira.org or by phone (541) 858-1665

Q: Are hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?

A: No. AIRA has a secured a discounted conference attendee rate, so please visit our Venue page for more information and details on how to make a reservation at the AIRA conference rate.

Q: When will I receive the login instructions for the Bankruptcy Taxation Online program?

A: Login instructions will be sent to the email in your registration at 8am ET the day before the session begins, and again the morning before the session starts. If you did not receive them by then, or need a copy sent to a different address, please contact us at aira@aira.org.

At the Event

Q: What do I need to do to earn the maximum amount of CPE credits during the Bankruptcy Taxation Online session?

A: To earn the maximum amount of CPE credits during our online programs you must fulfill two criteria: 1) Ensure you have joined the program before, or at the scheduled start time. Your attendance is recorded by the virtual event platform and being late or leaving early can affect the amount of credit earned. 2) AIRA uses polling questions to monitor attendee engagement. 3 answered polling questions are required per 1 CPE credit. Polling questions will be released at random intervals during the session using the embedded Slido app. Slido Polling questions will be open for 3 minutes, after which they will be closed and attendees will no longer be able to answer. We recommend you do not close the Slido Polling Panel, unless necessary to fix a technical issue.

Q: Will there be notification or cue, for instance a chime, when a new poll is opened?

A: No, the WebEx Events Platform does not feature an audio cue or notification, when a new poll opens it will be visible in the Slido Panel and attendees will have 3 minutes to answer the question before it closes.

Q: Why am I unable to answer the poll?

A: If the poll is still open, please close the Slido panel and reopen under the Apps button. If this does not allow you to answer the polling question, contact the Host of the meeting with your answer. If the poll is open, or recently closed this will still count towards your answered polling questions. If you believe you missed a poll due to a technical issue, send your answer to the Host and please exit and rejoin the meeting. This should reenable access. if the poll has been closed for more than a few minutes your answer will not be counted towards credit. Please see the Program Information page for more details under your specific program about technical issues.

Q: Where is the Slido app panel?

A: The Slido app is located in the apps panel. The Apps button in the bottom right of the WebEx Event window will open/close the app panel. Slido will open initially upon entry. Do not close the Slido panel as it will not reopen itself each time a poll is opened.

Q: What is the dress code at the conference?

A: Business casual is appropriate for the conference sessions and receptions. For excursions, we recommend comfortable, casual attire.

Q: What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

A: Both overnight valet parking ($50) and self-parking ($25) are available at the hotel.

Q: Do you validate parking?

A: No, parking is a personal expense.

Q: How do I download the conference materials?

A: A link will be emailed to you before the conference where you can download the .PDF versions of the session materials.

Q: Why are some sessions missing materials?

A: Panels do not always provide materials a final version of their materials prior to their scheduled conference session. If a session's materials are missing, but their session has not completed, it is likely the have not provided AIRA with a copy. Please check the download page at a later time. If the session has completed and materials are still unavailable, please contact us at aira@aira.org for assistance.

After the Event

Q: When will I get my CPE certificate?

A: CPE certificates will be issued 4-6 weeks after the conference.

Q: My CPE credit is not what was advertised and I attended all the sessions I signed up for?

A: CPE credits are calculated by session check-in/out times via the AIRA Meetings & Events app, or based on your sign-in sheet time. If you were late to one or more sessions, that may affect your total credit hours. If your session was virtual and you did not answer enough polling questions, or were not in attendance the entire duration, that may affect your total credit hours.

Q: When will I get my CLE certificate?

A: You will receive an email from the ABA 2-3 weeks after the conference that will include your affidavit and access to your certificate(s).
