Managing Director

Penny Fine is a Managing Director at CIT Asset Management where she leads business development for CIT Northbridge Credit, LLC.  In this role, Penny is responsible for driving the origination efforts for a broad range of flexible asset-based debt solutions focused on middle-market companies.    Based in Chicago, Penny has over 30 years of professional experience and is well-known nationally in the ABL Community. 

Prior to joining the CIT Northbridge team, Penny was a business development officer at Huntington Business Credit where she sourced and closed new ABL financing relationships.  Previously, Penny was Midwest region head for Chase Business Credit, a division of JPMorgan Chase, where she managed a team of ABL originators and portfolio managers in the Midwest and she was an executive director of Restructuring Services at Capstone Advisor Group consulting on solutions for lenders and investors in distressed situations.  From 2005 to 2008, Penny served as executive vice president and head of the National Restructuring Group at CIT where she managed a team that sourced new business opportunities nationally.  Prior to joining CIT, she spent 11 years at GE Capital in various lending positions, primarily in originations, including Automotive Group Leader and Originations Group Leader in the Central U.S. and Canada for the National Restructuring Group.  Penny started her lending career at Heller Financial and began her career at Arthur Andersen in public accounting.  In total, Penny has facilitated the closing of over 140 transactions in her originations, management and underwriting roles. 

Penny earned her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois where she passed the Certified Public Accounting Examination.   Penny is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Secured Finance Network and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Penny lives in Deerfield, IL with her husband Jay.

Refunds and Cancellations Policy—Cancellations made 3 or more days prior to a webinar are eligible for a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 3 days prior to a webinar. Substitutions are allowed with written notice at least 3 days in advance of the webinar.
