Leanne Gould, CPA/ABV/CFF, ASA
Leanne Gould is a forensic accountant and business appraiser with over 20 years of experience in financial and economic damage analysis, forensic accounting, business valuation, and bankruptcy consulting. She assists her clients and counsel to understand complex financial and valuation issues in a variety of disputed matters by listening, evaluating the facts and documents in the case, and explaining her findings clearly and in a practical manner. She has provided forensic accounting, litigation support and expert witness services in complex commercial and bankruptcy disputes across the nation including:
• Analysis of solvency and reasonably equivalent value received in exchange for a business or minority business interest in avoidance actions brought under §547 and §548 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act (UVTA) and related state statutes,
• Asset tracing and other forensic accounting services in cases involving claims of fraud, conversion, embezzlement, and alter-ego including transactions in multi-tiered entities and through shell corporations,
• Calculation of economic damages in breach of contract, loss of income, business interruption, and business tort claims,
• Business valuation in disputed shareholder buy-outs and shareholder oppression matters,
• Analysis of employee data in collective and class actions including claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and similar state statutes, and
• Analysis of transactional data in medical billing and contract disputes.
Leanne earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Buffalo. She is a licensed CPA in Georgia, an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers, and is Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics by the AICPA.
Leanne is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation where she co-founded the Georgia Network. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (Programs Committee 2017-18), Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a non-attorney member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and the American Bar Association. Leanne leads presentations and panels for professional organizations on a variety of topics including forensic accounting, business valuation, voidable transactions, economic damages, and issues impacting distressed businesses and insolvency professionals.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2019 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 13, 2019; substitutions are allowed.
