Alana S. Gabrielson has worked in public accounting since 1999 and obtained her CPA license in February 2005. She is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy. Prior to college, Alana moved to the Central Valley of California as a child from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she then graduated high school from the small farming town of Corcoran, California.
After graduating from Fresno State, Alana accepted a job in the Bay Area with KPMG, LLP. In the bay area, Alana worked in the tech industry preparing and consulting companies from start-ups to public companies. She enjoyed watching a dream develop into a company and succeed to either go public or be purchased. Watching the fast-paced growth cycle of a company was exciting and also informative for working with clients today.
At Bean Hunt Harris & Company, Alana focuses on assisting clients with maneuvering through bankruptcy, tax audits/collection issues, and tax compliance.
Alana holds professional memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), Central California Bankruptcy Association and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors organization (AIRA).
Alana serves on the following boards in the Fresno community. She is the treasurer of Girl Scouts of Central California South. Alana enjoys being a part of the vision of Girl Scouts here in the Central Valley and loves to promote and support the efforts of girls in the community.
Alana is also Vice President of Central California Bankruptcy Association (CCBA). Alana enjoys serving the attorney’s and professionals that help businesses and individuals through the bankruptcy process. CCBA provides attorneys and bankruptcy professional education and a network of resources. Alana will be organizing the Central California Bankruptcy Institute held in September 2018 in Fresno, California.
Additionally, Alana is a member of the Clovis Rotary, in which you will find her supporting the Salvation Army in Clovis, Sierra Vista School, Buchanan Interact Club, and many other community service projects.
When not at work Alana enjoys spending time with her family, cheering her two boys on at their sporting events, camping, cooking and listening to her husband perform percussion with many of California’s orchestras.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2019 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 13, 2019; substitutions are allowed.
