Christopher T. Bird is an associate in the Tax and Estates Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Philadelphia office.

Mr. Bird’s practice focuses on U.S. and cross-border tax matters relating to taxable and tax-free mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, partnership agreements and the formation of private investment funds. He also has experience with various state and local tax matters.

Mr. Bird also advises various types of institutional investors with their investments in private investment funds and represents buyers and sellers in secondary transactions. In the course of his practice, Mr. Bird regularly advises on U.S. tax issues relevant to U.S. tax-exempt and non-U.S. investors, as well as on U.S. tax considerations related to non-U.S. investments.

Mr. Bird also counsels nonprofit organizations on a wide range of issues, including formation of new exempt entities, unrelated business taxable income, Forms 990 and 990-PF compliance, excess benefit transaction matters, and state charitable solicitation and registration laws.

Written cancellation for the conference or any excursions must be received by midnight on Monday, May 13, 2019 for a full refund less a $75 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be given after May 13, 2019; substitutions are allowed.
