AIRA's Annual Advanced Restructuring and Plan of Reorganization Conference in New York ("NY POR") is a forum presenting legal and financial perspectives on developments in bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring. The one day program of individual and panel presentations is geared toward maximizing opportunities for learning, exchange and networking, as well as offering credit for continuing legal and professional education.

Educational sessions include:

The luncheon keynote presentation – "Is Too Big to Fail Over?" – will be delivered by David A. Skeel Jr., the Caryl Louise Boies Visiting Professor of Law at New York University School of Law, and the S. Samuel Arsht Professor of Corporate Law at University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He is also author of The New Financial Deal: Understanding the Dodd-Frank Act and Its (Unintended) Consequences, and Icarus in the Boardroom, among others. The presentation will focus on the new rules for handling large financial firm values and bankruptcy as an alternative.

The conference will conclude with a reception honoring the recipient of AIRA's 2013 Judicial Service Award:
